Chopsticks maker Kawai corporation has been producing chopsticks in Obama, Fukui prefecture since 1943. More than 80% of Japanese made chopsticks are from Obama. Kawai co. wish to introduce Japanese chopsticks culture to people and they keep presenting new types such as tetoca, Tanagokoro and Japanese Traditional Colour Chopsticks.
